RESERVE BEND BAND OF BROTHERS BOAT
The Bend Band of Brothers chapter sponsors a boat that is docked on East Lake which can be reserved and used by all veterans and first responders. The boat is generally operational from Memorial Day thru October 1st. It can be used for fishing or just a day on the water. Bend Band of Brothers started construction on the boat August 24, 2017 and it was launched in 2018.

East Lake is located in the Newberry National Volcanic Monument and is a popular fishing destination regularly producing brown trout over 10 pounds. East Lake is 6,381 feet above sea level.

DESCRIPTION OF THE BOAT
• 21ft Aluminum Boat
• Seating for 9 people
• There is space for a wheel chair
• Honda 21hp Outboard Motor
The boat can be reserved from 7am-7pm

There is no charge for veterans,
active military or first responders.
You must know and obey all fishing and motor boat rules for East Lake. Life Jackets will be provided and kept accessible for all persons on the boat. The speed limit on East Lake is 10mph
